Qik-Link goes to Cologne!
Last week some of the Qik-Link install team headed to Cologne for a build for a new client, after a bright and early start to catch the 3.20am Euro tunnel train from Folkstone the team began their journey to Cologne. After an 8 hour drive from the Midlands to Germany the team arrived at 11am local time allowing (as always!) plenty of time to begin the build.
Our client had specified a platform of 108 square metres for a 12metre by 9 metre stand, this was completed by ramped edging on 4 sides and finished with a cherry red Astro turf.
The space our client had been allocated included columns to build the platform around which was no issue for our experienced onsite team. Our team laid the platform with ease and the Astro turf had already been prepared back in the UK and was fitted to the floor with only a few additional trims required to make the fit completely perfect.
Following the successful install of the platform, ramped edging and Astro turf finish our onsite team were able to retire and enjoy a well deserved German beer and some local hospitality.
Our team returned to the site the following day to greet the client, present the finished installation and to ensure the client was happy with the finished results. Our client was very happy with their finished platform and signed it off with no hesitation. Our team will be heading back to Cologne this week to de-rig the platform and bring it back to the UK.
