Lighting up Doncaster!
This week some of the Qik-Link team braved the storms to venture up North to complete a build you our client at Opportunities Doncaster Live at Doncaster racecourse. Our client had commissioned us for a 10m by 5m install with three open sides, carpet covering and LED strip finish with opal skirting. We arrived ready for a 10.30am install at the venue and as always we were on time and raring to go!
The team worked in tandem to install the electrics and the floor with all wires fitted securely within the channels ensuring the stand not only looks tidy but most importantly it is safe for all those using the platform avoiding any trip hazards.
Our client had also opted to install LED lighting on the edge of the stand and this was installed alongside the flooring and the stand electrics allowing for easy and Qik break down of the stand following the event. The LED lighting chosen by our client was added to the open front 10metres of the stand and can be added to suit the needs of each stand. Our unique ALI edging gave the stand the true wow factor and it is unsurprisingly becoming a very popular addition to many installs.
Following the installation of all electrics they were tested along with the LED edging, following the electrical testing the team completed the stand with a grey eco carpet covering. The full install was completed by lunchtime allowing our client to add the finishing touches to the stand.
Following our departure our client contacted us with photographs of the completed stand and commented “Just thought you might like to see the finished stand with the LED lighting – it looks great!”
